At Refined Builders Inc., we’re more than just a construction company—we’re a family. A father and daughter, combining decades of experience, passion, and craftsmanship to create something truly special.

For Dave, construction has never just been a job—it’s a lifelong calling. With over 30 years in the industry, he’s built everything from fences to full custom homes, mastering every trade along the way. His journey started in Norfolk, NE, swinging a hammer alongside his father, learning the value of hard work, integrity, and building something that lasts. Now, he gets to pass that legacy forward, not just in the homes we create, but in the partnership he’s built with his daughter, Devon.

Devon grew up surrounded by blueprints and job sites, but her path took a creative turn. With a degree in Interior Design from Metropolitan Community College, she found her passion in blending structure with style. She spent years as a project manager for home builders in Columbus and Hickman, NE, learning how to bring a homeowner’s vision to life—not just with walls and beams, but with thoughtful design and personal touches that make a house feel like home.

In 2021, we decided to take our experience, passion, and shared vision and create something of our own—Refined Builders Inc.

From complete home flips to stunning remodels, we’ve transformed kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and entire living spaces. We’ve built decks where families gather, installed tile floors that tell a story, and designed custom spaces that reflect the heart of the people who live in them. But our true passion lies in what we’ve always dreamed of—building new custom homes from the ground up.

We believe that a home should be more than four walls—it should be a reflection of the people who live in it. That’s why we think outside the box, incorporating modern trends, innovative designs, and the small details that make a space truly yours.
